Jamaican telecommunications giant, LIME has officially discontinued their broadcast of Vybz Kartel’s reality show, Teacha’s Pet with immediate effect following murder charges being issued against the popular deejay last night.

LIME, who has been broadcasting uncut episodes of the reality series via their mobile television outlet, LIME TV & its Peppa Channel, has decided that they will no longer air the show given the seriousness of the charges laid against Vybz Kartel. According to the telecommunications network, formerly known as Cable & Wireless, they could neither comment on the charges nor their reasoning for discontinuing showing Teacha’s Pet given that it is a legal matter.

Kartel was slapped with three charges including murder, illegal possession of a firearm and conspiracy to murder last night by the Major Investigation Task force (MIT) with three charges relating to the murder of a St. Catherine promoter on July 11th of this year. Allegedly, the self-professed “Worl’ Boss” along with a group of men conspired to kill 27 year old, Barrington Burton aka “Bossie” of a Gregory Park, St. Catherine address. Burton was shot and killed whilst standing with friends alongside Gregory Park.

In addition, Kartel has reportedly been linked to the killing of a male dancer in Waterford, St. Catherine and is currently being investigated by law enforcement regarding that incident.
